Conclusion:
Camp
Hatikvah is a Jewish camp, the primary goal of which is to promote
Judaism, Zionism and generally "the Jewish way of life", all within
the context of a safe camping environment. In order to facilitate the
foregoing, you must appreciate that you are a role model for campers
and, as such, you must at all times use your best efforts to provide a
good example to the campers at large. As a condition of you becoming a
volunteer, you must attend pre-camp which will serve as a training
session to familiarize yourself with the Camp, its operations and the
volunteer duties we expect you to discharge.
Camp
Hatikvah has strict policies which dictate the appropriate ways to
deal with both campers and other staff. These policies will be
outlined in a Staff Handbook given to you when you arrive at Camp and
by a group of sensitivity trainers known as the ‘Integrity Group’.
After their session, you will be expected to sign a document stating
that you understand and agree to abide by said policies.
