The Diamond Knesset
In 2002 Camp Hatikvah received the largest donation in its history from the Diamond Foundation of Vancouver. This donation was used to replace the dilapidated `house` that had sat at the center of the property since the time the camp purchased the site, with a multi-purpose recreational facility that is, simply put, magnificent.
The Diamond Knesset houses the Camps on-site administrative offices, a library, several recreation rooms and an abundance of staff sleeping and washing facilities. Camp Hatikvah is truly grateful to the Diamond Foundation for this most generous gift.

The Ulam
The Ulam is one of the oldest and most loved buildings on our camp site. It sits in the center of the camp site and hosts all of the camps major camp-wide activities such as drama performances, rikuid, evening programs, chugim and sometimes even sporting events like indoor-hockey, gaga and dance-offs!
One will truly get a sense for the history of Camp Hatikvah when they walk thru the Ulam as it is one of the only buildings left on site that still has the rich scribbles of campers past written on its walls.

Sarah Fine Orchard
The Orchard around the Chadar, which serves as a meeting place for campers as well as a venue for Shabbat services and daily popsicle parties, was dedicated in loving memory of Sarah Fine of Calgary by her husband and children in 2005. The Fine Family donation enabled Camp Hatikvah to irrigate a large portion of its land which served not only to add to the aesthetic appeal of the property but also to maximize the functionality of the facilities. We are grateful to the Fine Family for their donation and are confident that the beauty of the Orchard serves as a fond reminder of the beauty of the life of Sarah Fine.

Sara Stern Pavilion
The Sara Stern Pavilion is located close to the Camps many sporting facilities and provides an area of much-needed shade from the Okanagan`s sweltering heat. Campers enjoy sitting under the pavilion to listen to music, play cards or simply relax with their friends.
The Pavilion was dedicated in loving memory of Sara Stern by her family in 1995. Sara was a beautiful and sweet child who lost her life at a tragically young age. Sara is missed by all those who knew her and is remembered fondly by our camping community.
