Project Gesher:

Camp Hatikvah Foundation is pleased to announce the unveiling of Project Gesher. This exciting capital improvement project strives to encourage past generations of campers to build a bridge between themselves and future generations of campers by making a long-term financial commitment to the Foundation.  

For the past 6 years, Camp Hatikvah has been quietly re-building its site. The re-construction campaign started with the development of 19 new, insulated duplex cabins to house our 13, 14 and 15 year-old campers, continued with the creation of a new recreation hall in the center of Kochot, and culminated when the old ‘House’ was replaced with a glorious new multi-purpose administrative, recreational and housing facility. In developing Project Gesher, the Camp Hatikvah Foundation is delighted to recognize all donors who have contributed to the aforementioned projects, and hopes to identify many more donors to help continue the incredible task of re-constructing the Camp’s aging site.

What Are The Specific Goals of Project Gesher?

The specific phases of Project Gesher are as follows:

Phase 4: The Reconstruction of TEN new cabins for our 8 – 12 year old campers (currently underway)

Phase 5: The Reconstruction of the ‘Hatikvah Ulam’ (main recreation hall)

Phase 6: The Reconstruction or Renovation of the Chadar Ochel (dining hall)

Why Should I Support Project Gesher? 

Recent studies have shown that Jewish Camping is BY FAR the best way to help ensure Jewish continuity amongst today’s youth. By becoming a supporter of Project Gesher you are indicating your support of not only our Camp but also of our community as today’s campers are tomorrow’s leaders.
