Camp Hatikvah has been an important part of your life. Now it can be part of your legacy. The Charitable Life Insurance Program, CLIP, now gives you, our valued supporter, a unique way of leaving a planned gift to our organization.
Charity Life Direct was developed to help Charities and Foundations deal with the never ending challenge of raising funds for today and to look after the future. Along with AIG Life of Canada, Charity Life Direct developed a flexible, guaranteed and paid-up life insurance policy which allows individuals who want to leave a legacy to Camp Hatikvah to do so. In other words, the Charity Life Insurance Program allows you to provide for a large legacy tomorrow with a small commitment today.
The gift of life insurance is the perfect way to leave a substantial legacy in the future and at the same time generate immediate charitable income tax credits with each affordable premium payment you make.
Why Donate through CLIP?
- 1) It benefits both you and your Charity
You will receive a receipt for the entire amount of the life insurance premiums you donate each year. When the life insurance proceeds are transferred to Camp Hatikvah, there is no tax receipt generated, but the funds are received by the charity, tax-free.
- 2) It's easy
With the Charity Life Insurance Program, your commitment is only for three or five years, at which time the program is paid-up.
- 3) It's flexible
If for some reason you cannot continue with the payment of your annual premiums after the first year on a 3-year plan; or after the second year on a 5-year plan, a percentage of your coverage will automatically become paid-up. This ensures that your Camp Hatikvah will receive a future gift from you.
