K'tanim

Taxes:
All program fees are subject to GST (5%)
Credit Card Processing:
A 2.5% processing fee will be added to all program fees & taxes paid by credit card. To pay by cheque without the processing fee, please contact Eden at admin@camphatikvah.com.
Family Membership:
The fees listed above do not include Annual Family Membership to the Camp Hatikvah Foundation ($150). This amount is eligible for a Canadian charitable donation receipt and is charged by family rather than by camper (i.e. a family with 2 or more children will only pay this membership once).
Non-Refundable Deposits:
Unless you have arranged to pay your camp fees by cheque by emailing admin@camphatikvah.com immediately after applying, the following deposit amount, will be charged to your credit card on file upon acceptance of your child's application:

First Session: $1,000
Second Session: $500
Second Add-On: $250
Giborim: $250
K’tanim: $250
SITs: $1,500
Campership Applicants: A $250 deposit will be charged regardless of session. If you withdraw your child within one week of being notified of your campership award, your deposit will be refunded. After that date, both are non-refundable.
Payment
Unless you have arranged to pay your camp fees by cheque by emailing admin@camphatikvah.com immediately after applying, your fees (plus GST and and 2.5% processing fee on the full amount of your camp fees and family membership) will be charged to the credit card on file in three equal instalments on January 4th, February 1st and March 1st 2027.
Families registering after March 1, 2027 must pay their camp fees in full at the time of application.

Refund Policy:
​
Deposits are non-refundable, except as noted above for campership applicants.
All other camp fees are refundable if written notice of withdrawal is received at admin@camphatikvah.com by February 28th, 2027. After this date, all fees are non-refundable.
​
Transportation
First Session, Second Session & SITs: Roundtrip bus transportation to/from camp from Vancouver or transportation to/from camp from the Kelowna airport is included for First Session, Second Session & SIT campers.
Giborim: One-way bus transportation to camp from Vancouver or transportation to camp from the Kelowna airport is included for Giborim participants. Campers will need to be picked up at camp on August 8th.
K'tanim: One-way bus transportation from camp to Vancouver or transportation from camp to the Kelowna airport is included for K'tanim participants. Campers will need to be dropped off at camp on August 11th.
APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR CAMPERS IN GRADES 1 - 8

Applications for all campers will open at 9:00 am on Monday, September 14, 2026.
​
From 9:00 am on Monday, September 14th through 8:59 am on Wednesday, September 16th, submitted applications will be collected and held.​
At 9:00 am on Wednesday, September 16th, we will review all applications received to that point and begin enrolling campers according to the following priority order:
​
Priority Group 1: Returning 2026 campers applying for the same session
Priority Group 2: Returning 2026 campers applying to move to First Session
Priority Group 3: New campers with a sibling enrolled in Camp Hatikvah 2027
Priority Group 4: All other new campers​
​
IMPORTANT: Unless there is a behavioural concern, returning campers from 2026 (Priority Group 1) are guaranteed a space in the session they attended last summer provided they apply by 8:59 am on September 16th.​​
​
If your camper is not in Priority Group 1 , the date and time you apply may be taken into consideration if we have more applicants than we do space. As such, if your camper falls into Priority Group 2, 3 or 4, please apply as close to
9:00am on September 14th as possible.
​
After 9:00 am on September 16th, all applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, space permitting.
APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR CAMPERS IN GRADE 9
​
Campers currently in Grade 9 are invited to apply for Camp Hatikvah’s 45-night Staff in Training (SIT) Program. However, registration in the SIT Program is subject to approval. SIT applicants are considered based on their SIT application, letter of reference and interview.
​
To apply to the SIT program, please complete the following steps:
​
Step 1: Submit a Regular Application
SIT applications will open at 9:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2026 through our regular registration portal. Applicants should submit their application between this time and 8:59 am on Wednesday, September 16th.
​
Step 2 – Camper SIT Application
Once the parent application has been submitted, the SIT applicant must log into Campminder and complete their own SIT Application Form, found under Forms & Documents. This portion of the application should be completed by the camper themselves before 5:00 pm on September 18th.
​
Step 3 – Letter of Reference
Each applicant must provide a letter of reference from a teacher, coach or another adult who is not a family member or family friend. The reference must be received before an interview can be scheduled. This letter must be received by the camp office by October 8th.
Step 4 – Interview
All SIT applicants will participate in an interview as part of the application process. Our camp office will contact families to arrange an interview once the required application materials have been received.

Following the completion of all three components — the SIT application, reference letter and interview — families will be notified regarding acceptance into the program.
​
​Please note: Should the number of approved applicants exceed the number of spaces available in the program, campers who attended Camp Hatikvah in Summer 2026 will be given priority. If we are not able to welcome your child to our SIT program, your deposit will be returned to you.
